Jefferson offers three levels of Computer Science to engage students in hands-on STEM learning:

6th Grade: Introduction to Computer Science (semester-long course)

Advanced Computer Science: Builds on foundational skills and explores more complex concepts
Students engage in a wide range of learning activities using the code.org curriculum and other resources. Lessons incorporate a variety of tools, including Spheros, drones, 3D printers, LEGO kits, Ozobots, Boltz and more.
Jefferson builds on the skills and interests students develop in Arlington’s STEM program and further enhances their learning to support the growth of Northrop's PLTW (Project Lead the Way) Prorgam.
